Happen-upon is a place for the curious, a place to potter a place to find inspiration.
Started in 2008, and based in the UK (Leeds to be precise). It ’s aim is to be a digital scrapbook for all the interesting places, ideas, objects, trends floating around.
After studying History of Design I worked in advertising before settling into design both on and offline, running a succesful design and digital agency, now I am a freelance consultant (and general plate spinner). I have always been passionate about traveling and love to go to places that offer me nourishment of the body, mind and soul. If you want to be nourished then Happen upon is the place for you.
I also produce my own ceramics very much influenced by what I blog about. I am particularly fond of print, lino cut, screenprinting, the repetition of image. My work can be seen on my flickr page.
The next stage will be an online shop so all these things can be bought and then maybe an offline shop/ gallery so all these things can be viewed touched and admired (and bought).
